Wild Fire Response

The increased incidence and risk of wildfires is threatening forestry worker safety and the general order and productivity of BC’s forestry sector.

The Western Forestry Contractors’ Association has developed this Wildfire Awareness Course to provide the support and education that BC's forestry workers need to meet their fire obligations under the Wildfire Act, to stay safe in the field, and to protect our beloved communities.

By the end of the course, you'll feel more informed, confident, and equipped to stop ignitions and handle them like a pro.
